Ik was al een tijdje op zoek naar een lederen band voor mijn Explorer 1. Het valt niet mee om een band te vinden die ook echt de Explorer 1, Rolex vibe heeft, en geen afbreuk doet aan de kwaliteit van het horloge. Merken zoals Hirsch hebben wel top kwaliteit maar zijn toch niet echt voor een Rolex gemaakt.
Via social media kwam ik op het spoor van Varileer. Wat me meteen aansprak was dat het een Nederlandse start up is die echt zelf een nieuw product heeft ontworpen speciaal voor Rolex.
Toen de band voor de Explorer 1 uitkwam heb ik deze meteen besteld. Ik heb de band nu ongeveer een maand en ik ben echt enorm tevreden. Het leer sluit perfect aan op het horloge en ruikt echt lekker. De eerste week kon ik het niet laten regelmatig even stiekem te ruiken.
Het bandje en leer draagt heel goed, en straalt kwaliteit uit door de goede afwerking. Een bijkomend voordeel is dat het horloge nu ook iets minder herkenbaar is op straat doordat de oysterband er niet opzit. In Amsterdam is het geen overbodige luxe om af en toe under the radar je Rolex op straat te kunnen dragen.
Als horloge liefhebber kan ik Varileer echt aanbevelen. Het klinkt een beetje cheesy maar ik ben er echt blij mee.

Fantastic Omega Speedmaster band! The leather feels premium, and the fit is perfect. UPS took a bit longer than expected to deliver because of holiday season demand, but Varileer still delivered a great experience overall. Would definitely buy again!
